What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, postcode, and anything optional you choose to add (phone number, property details, timeline, message). We also record which page the form was on.

We use it for one purpose: to pass your enquiry to relevant independent firms that cover your area, so they can contact you about the thing you asked about. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry you made.

Who receives your details

• Independent firms relevant to your enquiry and your postcode. We share your details only for the enquiry you made. Each firm is a separate controller once it receives them and must handle them under its own privacy notice.
• Formspree, the service that receives form submissions for us, acting as our processor.
• Netlify, which hosts this website and may log technical request data (such as IP address) for security.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google), which sets analytics cookies such as _ga to count visits and enquiries. It receives your IP address and the pages you visit.

We do not sell lists of contacts, and we do not pass your details to anyone for a purpose unrelated to your enquiry.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months so we can deal with follow-up questions or complaints, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Cookies

This site sets Google Analytics 4 cookies (for example _ga) to measure visits, and they are set when you load a page. You can block or delete them in your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies. The hosting platform may use strictly necessary technical cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use or withdraw consent. Use the contact form. If you are unhappy with our reply you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
